Steve did a very thorough job. Professional and still friendly. Ridapest has been my quarterly "bug" service for many years.   Even the onslaught of ants in the Spring are kept out of my house. Jamie W did our service yesterday. My husband was very happy with the answers to his "ants" questions , or the "annual invasion" we call it.  He told my husband of a new spray that's been effective. Founded in 1986 by Tom McFadden, Rid-a-Pest originated when Tom relocated to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to embark on a career in the pest control industry. Motivated by his unwavering commitment to excellence, Tom was determined to enhance the industry’s reputation to align with his own high standards. He prioritized neatness, cleanliness, and organization, instilling these values within his team. Tom insisted on pressed uniforms, impeccably maintained trucks, and a professional image upheld by the Rid-a-Pest staff, both in their interactions with customers and the public.

Although Tom’s passing in 2012 marked a significant loss, his legacy lives on. Presently, Tim and Lisa Ware, the current owners, carry on the business with utmost integrity and a steadfast pursuit of excellence. Their mission is simple yet impactful—to further elevate the pest control industry through their operations.

Mark Passmore

Director of Sales

Mark Passmore joined our team in 1987, first serving in the termite department, where he gained extensive knowledge and experience. He then worked in the pest department, becoming a team leader. His commitment to a high personal standard of excellence, service, and experience led him to eventually lead our commercial sales department.


Mark believes in setting the standard in the field, office, and at home.


Mark and his wife Kathy have three grown sons and actively serve in their church. For Mark, there’s nothing more enjoyable than fishing with his boys or with a friend in his free time.


Fun fact: Mark made a hole-in-one on his 39th birthday—and he wasn’t even an experienced golfer!
